The Role of the District Doctor

As a district doctor at Bra Liv Smålandsstenar Health Center, you are offered an independent position where you have the opportunity to influence your work. The job is varied with planned and acute patient visits, supervision of training doctors, collaboration with home care, and the possibility to work in the municipality's special accommodations and/or child health care. Furthermore, we offer you a fun and exciting job close to the public with many contact points where your competence is utilized and stimulated. On-call duty and emergency service at the Urgent Care Center are included in the position.

Your Future Workplace

Smålandsstenar Health Center is part of the Bra Liv health centers and belongs to the region-driven primary care. The health center also has a branch in the community of Reftele, about twenty kilometers from Smålandsstenar. Together, we have over 11,000 registered patients and about 35 employees. Our core values are care, wholeness, and quality, and we provide full-scale primary care with high trust from our population. We are located on the outskirts of Småland, in beautiful nature - but still no more than just over an hour to Gothenburg, Halmstad, and Jönköping. We are situated in Gislaved municipality, which offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, many active associations, good schools, and affordable housing prices. Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Has experience as a district doctor and can play a central role in our medical team and the operations overall.
• Can work independently and with various professional groups.
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good communication.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve the operations together with us.
• Is open to new knowledge, works according to the latest research, and acts as a knowledge resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, communication, and approach based on the patient and situation.
• Holds a B driver's license.
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, contributes to creating participation and a good work environment.
